Kenya Ports Authority Marks Ten Years: The Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) celebrated its tenth anniversary, with Transport and Communications Minister Arthur Magugu praising the hardworking staff for their dedication. Over the past decade, the KPA has significantly improved Mombasa’s port operations, contributing to the economic development of the region. The Minister noted that while the port had grown substantially, further upgrades were necessary to cope with increasing demand, including the construction of a new container terminal.
