Inside this issue:Coast tour industry problems reviewed: Some of the problems facing the tourist industry have been high lightened by the Mombasa and Coast Tourist Association; Highly holistic healing: Ayurved- The ancient Indian system of medicine, is highly sophisticated and time tested with emphasis on a holistic approach to human health and well-being; Provincial commissioner meets with senior tour industry officials: Around 70 per cent of tourists visiting Kenya come to the coast and the local community should be benefitting much more from tourism if they would only grow more food; Sailing notes: The third monthly mug race was sailed in fairly light winds, Force 2 to 3 with Nicholus Webb and Stephen managing to sail single handed and finish the course despite their size; Win for Mombasa sport club: In an entertaining game of cricket at Mombasa sports club last Sunday, the hosts cruised to a six wicket win over the Patel S.C. winning with 14 balls to spare. |
