Jojoba Oil Project Takes Off Near Voi: A new jojoba oil project in the Voi region is expected to enhance farming incomes along the coast. Jojoba oil, known for its high market value, is primarily used in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. The project, backed by the Kenya Industrial Promotion Service, aims to boost economic development in the area. Mombasa and Coast Tourist Association Commends Government Action Against Poaching: The Mombasa and Coast Tourist Association expressed support for President Daniel Arap Moi's efforts to combat poaching. Chairman Peter Mangnitz emphasized the importance of preserving Kenya's wildlife for future generations and noted the need for collective efforts from all Kenyans to address poaching challenges. Cruise Ship Handling Improvements: The Chairman of the Tourist Association praised the Kenya Ports Authority for enhancing the handling of cruise ships, including improvements to facilities at the ports.
