dc.description.abstract Mike Werikhe's Longest Walk for Rhino Conservation: Mike Werikhe, "The Rhino Man," plans his longest charity walk across Europe to raise awareness for rhino conservation. Supported by Caltex and the East African Wildlife Society, his efforts will be documented and viewed worldwide by millions. Caltex Donates to Save the Rhino Fund: Caltex Oil donated KSh 20,000 to the Save the Rhino Fund during a ceremony in Mombasa, continuing their support for wildlife conservation efforts. Hola Township Gets New Telephone Exchange: Hola Township now has improved communication with the installation of an automatic telephone exchange. The service was inaugurated by District Commissioner Peter Raburu. U.S. Navy in Mombasa: The USS Enterprise Battle Group, led by Admiral K.C. Zeller, is visiting Mombasa, fostering diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Kenya. Coast Academy Wins Debating Contest: Coast Academy won the Lions Club Mombasa Pwani debating competition, defeating Coast Girls High School in a close final. en_US
