dc.description.abstract Drivers Warned Against Bribery: Drivers of Kwanda bond lorries have been advised by Mr. Simon Mung’ale to avoid bribing police officers. Instead, they should go to court if they face unfair charges. This advice comes in response to complaints about police harassment and corruption. Drivers are encouraged to report corrupt officers and always carry identification to avoid unnecessary arrests. Big Welcome Planned for L.T.S. Inaugural Charter: The inaugural flight of the new Boeing 757 by Alliance LTS International Airways from West Germany is set to arrive on December 12. The event will include a traditional Kenyan welcome with Giriama dancers and music. Guests will be greeted by various officials and taken to the new Safari Beach Hotel. The visit aims to boost Kenya's tourism and enhance relations with the German market. Illegal Imports Hit Coast Firm: The local pencil manufacturing industry, particularly the EDU MAT factory, is facing significant competition from illegal imports of Chinese pencils being sold at very low prices. The situation has worsened, and there are calls for immediate government action to curb the illegal imports and protect local manufacturers. en_US
