This has caused significant traffic issues, impacting the flow of transportation, including preparations for the A.S.K. (Agricultural Society of Kenya) show. The Minister for Tourism and Wildlife, Andrew Omarga, expressed concern about the negative impact this could have on tourism. Turtle Bay Beach Hotel Expansion: Turtle Bay Beach Hotel in Watamu is undergoing expansion, adding twenty-four new rooms in Lamu Houses with stunning views and fully renovated facilities, including a disco, snack bar, and grill.
