dc.description.abstract Save Mrima Hill' Call from Wildlife Society: The East African Wildlife Society is urging action to protect Mrima Hill, a unique ecosystem with distinct flora and fauna. The hill's coastal forest includes rare plant species and offers critical habitat for wildlife. The destruction of this area due to agriculture is alarming, and conservation efforts are needed to preserve its biodiversity. Hoteliers Complain on Beach Pollution: North Coast beaches are littered with rusted tins of condemned milk, reportedly dumped by a passing cargo ship. Hoteliers from Serena Beach Hotel to Coral Beach have expressed strong protests over the pollution. The Kenya Port Authority was notified but reportedly did not offer assistance. The matter has raised concerns about environmental management and beach cleanliness- Reported by Gray Phombeah. African Express Airways Receives Warm Welcome: African Express Airways celebrated its inaugural charter flight to Mombasa with a VIP reception. The airline is the first African-owned company to offer year-round charter service from Europe. The flight was well-received, with the company looking to expand its fleet and services in the near future. en_US
