dc.description.abstract Kenya Airways Launch Muscat Service: Kenya Airways has launched a new service to Muscat. The flights are expected to benefit travelers from East Africa. Bookings are now open at Kenya Airways offices or through agents. Go Ahead' for the 'Sea-We-Me' Cable Project: The "Sea-We-Me" cable project has been approved. This project will enhance connectivity between the Mediterranean and East Africa. A meeting attended by investors and stakeholders, including Mr. Michael Hach Munday, focused on the construction and operation of the cable network. New Training Centre for Mombasa: An SHS 80 million training center will be established in Mombasa. This center, to be set up at the Mombasa Government Training Institute, will focus on trade, development, and local government training for English-speaking sub-Saharan countries. It will coordinate with a similar institute in Zimbabwe. Liner Calls on Kenya: The Italian liner, DANAE, docked at Kenya’s Mombasa Harbour for a brief visit as part of its 90-day world cruise. The vessel, carrying 5,000 passengers and 225 crew members, continued its voyage after the stop. en_US
