dc.description.abstract Minister Magugu Opens Submarine Cable Project Discussion: A significant discussion on the submarine cable project, aimed at enhancing communication between Kenya and several regions, including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Western Europe, and Africa. The project, to be launched in June, will include a new cable network linking these areas. The discussion was led by Minister Magugu and involved various international stakeholders. Germans Boost Kenya Tourism: Kenya Tourism received a major boost at the International Tourist Bourse in West Berlin. Hundreds of travel and tour operators visited the Kenya Stand, leading to new contracts and agreements for the 1986-87 holiday seasons.
