Muslims Mourn Coast Scholar: The Muslim community is mourning the loss of a prominent scholar, Sheikh Nabe. Known for his dedication to Islamic theology and his deep knowledge of the Hadith (Sayings of the Prophet), Sheikh Nabe was revered for his intellectual ability to adapt tradition to the modern world. His efforts in helping people perform the Hajj were widely recognized, and his legacy is sure to live on through his students. April Launch for 'Malindi Rocket': Preparations are underway for another space satellite launch from the San Marco off-shore satellite platform near Malindi. The launch, scheduled for April, will send a satellite into orbit to study the Earth's atmosphere and space phenomena. The last satellite launched from this site was in 1980, during the solar eclipse, which created a shadow from Taveta to Lamu. This project is a collaboration between Italy and Kenya, and its success is eagerly anticipated – by Gray Phombeah. Brooke Bond' Gesture for the Disabled: Brooke Bond has contributed 200,000 KSh towards a project for disabled individuals in Mombasa. This initiative includes the installation of a laboratory and a metal workshop, symbolizing a significant gesture of corporate social responsibility. On Top of Mount Kenya: A group of Form Five students successfully climbed Point Lenana on Mount Kenya during their Christmas holiday. This accomplishment is a testament to their determination and team spirit.
