Abstract

Scientists amazed by marine parks: Startling discoveries about natural laboratories of the reef Eco- System the team of marina scientist from the university of hull and York in the U.K. which has been undertaking a marine survey at the Kisite- Mpunguti MMarine National park at Shimoni has made some startling discoveries regarding the status of the reefs in this long established marine conservation area. Pemba channel fishing stage successful festival at Shimoni: The ‘1992 tuna hunt’- the first competition since 1978 to be staged by the Pemba channel fishing club , Shimoni, was a great success despite the fishing being disappointing- Reported by Neta Peal in Shimoni.
