Cargo figure ‘best of any month in 1979’
The total tonnage of dry general cargo handled at the port of Mombasa during October was approximately 199,911 deadweight tons.
New plans for water treatment:
The Tanzanian government is to establish a national water treatment program for the rural areas with a view of supplying high quality water to the peasants.
Two more vessels for Kigoma:
