Abstract

Generous German Support for APDK Rehabilitation Clinic: The Jugend Club Weingarten from Germany, long-term supporters of the Association for the Physically Disabled of Kenya (APDK) Rehabilitation Clinic in Port Reitz, Mombasa, donated KSH 3.9 million to the clinic. The club has been visiting and supporting the clinic for over 25 years. The visit was welcomed by APDK Coast Branch Manager, Mr. Karama wa Karama, and Program Administrator, Mrs. Leah Mwachari. The clinic provides rehabilitation services to patients from various counties along the Kenyan coast. Kenya Kensho Charity Event: A charity cycling, running, and walking event called the "Kenya Kensho Cycle, Run & Walking Charity Event" is scheduled for Saturday, September 3, 2016, at the Butterfly Garden in Haller Park, Shanzu, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
