dc.description.abstract Oil search off Kenya coast: A multi-million shilling ‘hydro-carbon’ exploration programme is scheduled to get underway off the Kenya north coast early next month. the deep-sea drilling operation is centred in the shallow continental shelf off Ngama Bay some 50 kilometres north-east of Malindi. Container terminal to open near the port: Contrax Kenya Ltd has opened a new private container terminal at Changamwe which is designed to cater for all shipping lines in Mombasa the new terminal has the capacity to handle the storage of empty containers to and from the port and carry out all container repairs.
