Long wait on Likoni ferry: New ferries will not be delivered until the end of 2008 causing another long wait for the Likoni ferry- which sometimes is 90 minutes on the Llikoni side, passengers wonder what is being done to end this long delay- Special report by Neta Peal. Water authorities must consider the option of introducing a desalination plant for Mombasa. Waterwise Mombasa: Are things improving receiving only a few buckets of fresh water last year I can happily report having had water again in my taps on July 3 and 23-there being quite a lot on the latter date making it.
