Mombasa schools go green art competition: World Environment Day celebrations are held every year on 5th June .o stimulate awareness of the environment and enhance political attention and action. Mambrui welfare takes initiative to eradicate blindness in coast: On 7th and 8th of July 2012, Mambrui Welfare Group in conjunction with Mombasa Eye Hospital and Laser Center held a successful eye camp at Witoo, west of Lamu County Council. Top student in cat exam: Dhruti Hasmukh Lakhani of Jaffery Institute of professional studies (JIPS) has achieved wonders in CAT examination when she emerged top at her school in recording financial transactions and management information.
