Huge ‘Cargo handling ‘ investment in Kilindini: The government of Japan has agreed to undertake the Mombasa port development project by pumping into it a colossal loan amount of Japanese yen 26.7 billion or k.shs sixteen billion. Wonderful win for Waldorf: Mombasa finish for 2007 Kenya Airways ‘East African Safari’ classic rally. Fidelity Bank launched the ‘Water for Life’ project at the coast: Fidelity Commercial Bank recently its 2007/2008 ‘Water for Life’ project to provide clean water to the rural community at the coast in Diani and Malindi. Kenya Data Networks roll out ambitious plans for Internet Connection to all schools in the Country:  Kenya Data Networks is rolling out a major internet project that will ensure that every school in Kenya -from distant mountain villages to those in the swelling urban slum areas are hooked up to the internet at an estimated cost of Ksh 100 million.
